Risk manager
A MULTITASKING MANAGER
Our profession
Risk managers are multitasking managers. They can drive a project, propose solutions and they have an overall view about risks and crises in a company.
They identify and assess threats, put plans in place for if things go wrong and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks.
They are also responsible for managing the risk to the organisation, its employees, customers, reputation, assets, interests of stakeholders and they partake in the system QSE of their company.
Risk manager are organised, good team players and they have the ability to break things down and see where the potential fault lines lie so you can get the right structures in place to prevent risks occurring.
Main tasks:

risk assessment, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business (regulatory and operational risk, information and security risk, environnemental risk, market and credit risk, etc)

implementing a sustainable development approach in a company

planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation

providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.
